Merge activity files

Combine several GPX, FIT or TCX files into one continuous activity — useful when a ride was split into multiple recordings. Files are ordered by time and distances are made continuous. Everything stays in your browser.

How to merge activity files

  1. 1

    Add your files

Drop two or more .gpx, .fit or .tcx files onto the tool, or click to browse. They are sorted by start time automatically.

  2. 2

    Check the merged preview

Review the combined route on the map and the total distance and duration before exporting.

  3. 3

    Download the merged file

Pick an output format and download a single file containing the whole activity.

Frequently asked questions

Why would I merge activity files?
A watch or bike computer sometimes splits a single session into several files (battery swap, accidental stop/start, or a multi-leg route). Merging stitches them back into one activity.
In what order are the files merged?
Files are ordered automatically by their first timestamp, so the result follows the real chronological order regardless of the order you added them.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The merge runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
Can I merge files of different formats?
Yes. You can mix GPX, FIT and TCX files and export the result to any of the three formats.
