Merge activity files
Combine several GPX, FIT or TCX files into one continuous activity — useful when a ride was split into multiple recordings. Files are ordered by time and distances are made continuous. Everything stays in your browser.
How to merge activity files
- 1
Add your files
Drop two or more .gpx, .fit or .tcx files onto the tool, or click to browse. They are sorted by start time automatically.
- 2
Check the merged preview
Review the combined route on the map and the total distance and duration before exporting.
- 3
Download the merged file
Pick an output format and download a single file containing the whole activity.
Frequently asked questions
- Why would I merge activity files?
- A watch or bike computer sometimes splits a single session into several files (battery swap, accidental stop/start, or a multi-leg route). Merging stitches them back into one activity.
- In what order are the files merged?
- Files are ordered automatically by their first timestamp, so the result follows the real chronological order regardless of the order you added them.
- Are my files uploaded to a server?
- No. The merge runs entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
- Can I merge files of different formats?
- Yes. You can mix GPX, FIT and TCX files and export the result to any of the three formats.
